CLUB ENTRY CRITERIA

For any non-member clubs interested in joining the Cornwall Youth Football League, the following requirements must be met:

​

• Affiliation: The club must be affiliated with Cornwall FA.

• Insurance: The club must have up-to-date insurance, including public liability and player accident insurance, as per FA regulations.

• Accreditation: The club must be England Football Accredited or commit to achieving this accreditation within the season it joins the League.

• Team Level: Only grassroots-level teams are eligible. Academy/development centre teams are not permitted.

• Compliance with Rules: The club must agree to adhere to all League rules, which are set at the League AGM.

• Membership Election: Admission to the League is subject to election by the current member clubs through a simple majority vote.

These criteria are designed to ensure that all participating clubs uphold the values and standards essential to the success of youth football in Cornwall.

CLUB ENTRY PROCESS

The official entry window for the 2025-2026 season will open on 1st May 2025.

​

Any non-member clubs wishing to enter teams in the League should complete the new club Enquiry Form first and then you will be contacted by the League Secretary with further information about what happens next.

 

This form will close on 30th June 2025.

Your club will be invited to attend the League AGM in June, where a representative will have to say a few words about the team(s)/club, e.g. who they are, where they play, the reason(s) for wishing to enter the League and answer any questions member clubs may have. A vote will then be taken on acceptance into the League, by a simple majority.
